1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and LEADING HER WAY LLC ("Leading Her Way", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your use of the Leading Her Way: Cycle Sync mobile application, our website, and any related services (together, the "Services").
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy (https://app.leading-her-way.com/lhw-app-privacy-policy), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account and do not use the Services.

3. Eligibility — You Must Be 18 or Older
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
The Services are not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete that information and terminate the associated account.
If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at team@leading-her-way.com and we will delete it.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Your Account
To use most features you must create an account. You may register with an email address and password, or by using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
You agree to:
You may not share your account, sell it, or transfer it to anyone else. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been registered by someone under 18, contain false information, or are used in breach of these Terms.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, in Profile settings. Deleting your account removes your account and associated data from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store — see Section 8.
5. Health Disclaimer — Important
Leading Her Way is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Please read this section carefully:
If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately. The Services are not designed to provide emergency assistance.
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make about your health, work, or schedule based on information provided by the Services.
6. What the Services Provide
Leading Her Way helps you track your menstrual cycle, log periods and symptoms, journal your mood and energy, view cycle-phase insights, and plan your schedule around your cycle.
Some features are available to all registered users. Other features are available only with an active free trial or paid Premium subscription
We may add, change, or remove features at any time, including moving a feature between the free and Premium tiers. If we make a change that materially reduces the features included in a paid subscription you have already bought, we will give you reasonable notice and, where required by law.
7. Free Trial
We may offer a 7-day free trial of Premium features to new users.
8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. This section applies when you buy one.
8.1 Plans and Pricing
Subscriptions are offered on a monthly and an annual plan.
The exact price, billing period, and currency are shown to you in the app on the subscription screen before you confirm your purchase, and may vary by country and over time. Prices include applicable taxes where required.
8.2 Payment
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store, not directly by us. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
8.3 Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically. Unless you cancel it, your subscription will renew at the end of each billing period and your account will be charged the then-current price for the renewal period.
Your subscription is automatically renewed unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
8.4 How to cancel
You can cancel at any time:
iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Leading Her Way → Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to Premium until then. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription, and neither does deleting your Leading Her Way account — you must cancel through the store.
8.5 Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by their policies, and requests must be made to them:

We cannot process refunds for store purchases ourselves. This does not affect any statutory right to cancel or to a refund that you may have under the consumer law of your country, including any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right.
8.6 Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Any price change will apply only to future billing periods, and we will give you notice in advance as required by the App Store and applicable law. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you do not accept it.
8.7 Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device, use "Restore purchases" on the subscription screen to restore an active subscription tied to your Apple ID.
9. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Services can connect to third-party services that you choose to link, including Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook Calendar, and third-party sign-in from Apple and Google.
Our handling of calendar data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. AI-Generated Content
Some features use automated systems and artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, insights, affirmations, guidance, and scheduling recommendations.
You acknowledge that:

11. Your Content
The Services let you enter and store content, including period logs, symptoms, moods, energy levels, journal entries, goals, and notes ("Your Content").
You own Your Content. We do not claim ownership of it.
We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it for advertising.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
We may investigate and take appropriate action — including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting to law enforcement — if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
13. Our Intellectual Property
The Services, including the app, website, software, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, content, and the Leading Her Way name and branding, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to download and use the app on a device you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written permission.
14. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal information — including your health and cycle data, which is treated as sensitive — is described in our Privacy Policy (https://app.leading-her-way.com/lhw-app-privacy-policy).
Please read it carefully. By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read it.
15. Suspension and Termination
By you. You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account from within the app. Remember to cancel any subscription separately through the App Store (Section 8.4).
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if:

Effect of termination. On termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Sections 5, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 21 — survive termination.
Discontinuing the Services. We may modify or discontinue the Services, in whole or in part, at any time. If we discontinue the Services entirely, we will give you reasonable advance notice where practicable and, where required by law, a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription period you cannot use.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence, and nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leading Her Way LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by a reasonable means for example email before they take effect.
The "Last updated" date at the top shows when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Services and may delete your account.
20. Additional Terms for Apple App Store Users
This section applies if you download the app from the Apple App Store, and supplements the rest of these Terms. In the event of a conflict, this section prevails as to the subject matter it covers.
1. Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and Leading Her Way LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
2. Scope of licence. The licence granted to you for the app is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
3. Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the app, as specified in these Terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the app.
4. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation
5. Intellectual property claims. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
6. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

8. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.

- The information, predictions, insights, and guidance provided by the Services — including cycle phase predictions, expected period dates, energy forecasts, symptom insights, and scheduling suggestions — are estimates generated from the data you enter and from general models. They are for informational and educational purposes only.
- The Services must not be used as a method of contraception or birth control. The app does not identify fertile windows for the purpose of preventing or achieving pregnancy, and must not be relied upon for that purpose.The Services must not be used to detect or diagnose any medical condition, including pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, or any gynaecological, hormonal, or other disorder.
- Predictions may be inaccurate or incomplete, particularly if your cycle is irregular, if you have a medical condition, if you are taking hormonal medication or contraception, or if the data you have entered is incomplete.
- Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or other healthcare professional with any questions you have about a medical condition, symptom, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read or seen in the Services.
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make about your health, work, or schedule based on information provided by the Services.

- AI-generated content is produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation;
- it is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind;
- it should be treated as a suggestion to consider, not an instruction to follow; and
- you are responsible for reviewing and exercising your own judgement before acting on it.
Section 5 (Health Disclaimer) applies fully to AI-generated content.
11. Your Content
The Services let you enter and store content, including period logs, symptoms, moods, energy levels, journal entries, goals, and notes ("Your Content").
You own Your Content. We do not claim ownership of it.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, back up, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Services to you — for example, to sync it across your devices, generate your predictions and insights, and restore it after a failure.
- This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies retained for the limited period described in our Privacy Policy, and except where we must retain it to comply with a legal obligation.
- You are responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have the right to submit it.
We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it for advertising.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Services if you are under 18;
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the app or any part of the Services, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- access the Services by automated means (scraping, bots, crawlers) or attempt to extract our data in bulk;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, our servers, or any related systems or networks;
- circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass any security, authentication, subscription, or feature-gating mechanism;
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially exploit the Services or any content from them without our written permission;
- upload or transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
- impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
- use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
We may investigate and take appropriate action — including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting to law enforcement — if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services, and replace any earlier agreements on the same subject.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
